Job summary

Silfab Solar Inc. in Fort Mill, SC is seeking a Production Operator I to safely operate assigned machines and contribute to efficient, quality production of solar components.

You will perform assembly, testing, cleaning, and material handling, adhere to SWI, and maintain clean, compliant workstation while supporting a diverse and safety-focused team.

Experience in reading work instructions in English, basic computer literacy, and a willingness to learn will help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, understand, and follow work instructions in English.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 25 pounds individually and team lifts up to 60 pounds.
• Able to stand, walk, and work on feet for 8+ hours.
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines according to position SWI.
• Clean and prepare workstation and machines.
• Assemble and test components and ensure adherence to specified requirements.
• Perform simple electrical and continuity testing of electronic components, parts, and systems.
• Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies.
• Check final assembly for finish, labelling, and packaging methods.
• Complete other tasks as required and/or directed.
• Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures.

Job Description

As a Production Operator I, you will operate your assigned position or task safely and efficiently to optimally produce quality work. This may include the placement and testing of electrical components, cleaning of finished products, or loading of raw materials into machines.
