Job summary

Silfab Solar is seeking a Safety Supervisor to implement and maintain the facility's Health and Safety programs, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will conduct inspections, investigations, and training to reduce hazards and injuries across manufacturing and office spaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of manufacturing or light industrial safety experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS management systems.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the facility's EHS programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and audits across areas including manufacturing and warehouse.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training and new hire orientation.
• Coordinate emergency response activities and safety committee involvement.
• Monitor compliance with LOTO, machine guarding, PPE, and other safety standards.
• Support workers' compensation case management and return-to-work programs.

Job Description

Summary of Position

The Safety Supervisor is responsible for implementing and maintaining the facility's, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations and company standards. This position promotes a proactive safety culture by conducting inspections, training employees, investigating incidents, and working with all departments to reduce workplace hazards and injuries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and enforcement of facility safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and audits of assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, maintenance, and office areas.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct workplace investigations on injuries, near misses, property damage incidents, and events.
• Lead root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are completed and verified.
• Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and risk assessments.
• Coordinate emergency response activities including fire drills, evacuation exercises, and spill response.
• Deliver new hire orientation and ongoing safety training.
• Administer contractor safety and ensure compliance with site requirements.
• Monitor compliance with:

• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

Education / Qualifications / or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of manufacturing or light industrial safety experience.
• Knowledge of state and local statutes and ordinances
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS management systems.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management software.
