Rapidmicrobio in Lowell, MA is seeking a Consumables Production Lead for the new weekend shift. The full-time role requires leading up to 15 staff, maintaining GMP, and coordinating production plans on Fridays through Mondays, 6am–4:30pm. Start date is January 2027 as the weekend shift launches and scales.

The role emphasizes safety, problem solving, and developing technical and leadership skills within a high-quality manufacturing environment. Some overtime and weekend work are expected.

Formación

• High school diploma with 2+ years of experience or an Associate’s degree.
• Strong verbal and written communication to manage cGMP documentation.
• Ability to lead and manage team dynamics, including conflict, motivation and engagement.
• Excellent aseptic process and laboratory skills.

• Ability to work overtime, including off-schedule shifts and weekends.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

• Hold team members accountable for meeting production targets.
• Develop team members’ technical and leadership skills.
• Work with minimal supervision while supporting and driving process improvements and team culture.
• Ensure materials are stocked, kitted, and prepared for the production day.
• Process transactions in SAP daily.
• Perform shift startups and shutdowns.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Position Overview

The Consumables Production Lead is a highly skilled production operator who ensures production targets are met while maintaining high quality standards. The Lead oversees production documentation and helps maintain GMP compliance across Operations. This role requires the ability to communicate production plans, lead the production team, and navigate team dynamics such as conflict, motivation, and engagement.

Working Hours

This is a FT position working first shift Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday; 6am-4:30pm

Start Date
