Production Operator Lead

This position is responsible for collaborating with the Production Supervisor to assist with daily operations of the production floor; ensuring the shift meets established safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements.

Essential Functions

• Assist the Production Supervisor with daily activities of the shift, ensuring product safety, quality, and throughput standards are met.
• Communicate with the previous shift regarding challenges and opportunities on the production lines.
• Conduct walkthroughs to verify safety, housekeeping, and quality compliance.
• Assist with batching minerals and preparing production lines for changeovers.
• Order, inspect, and verify raw materials before changeovers; perform quality checks post-changeover.
• Verify jobs are correct in Oracle and other systems.
• Support production reports and utilize efficiency tools to monitor downtime.
• Follow safety programs, GMP, and Food Safety Standards.
• Maintain regular attendance and work 12-hour shifts as scheduled.
