Job summary

TE Connectivity Corporation in Mansfield, OH is seeking an Assembly/Assembler to perform diversified soldering and thoughtful assembly of multiple products with tight tolerances. You will read blueprints, use measuring instruments, and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities include soldering with torch and iron, completing potting and encapsulation, finishing relays with nameplates and decals, and assisting with packing and shipping.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be eligible to work under ITAR compliance.
  • Minimum of 2 years hands-on manufacturing experience in soldering.
  • Completed ESD training and solder certification; J-STD-001 preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wire schematics accurately.
  • Proficient in safe use of measuring instruments, hand tools, soldering iron and power tools.

  • Read blueprints, wire schematics, and use various measuring instruments to verify quality.
  • Finish relays with nameplates, decals, hardware, stamps, touch up paint, etc., and perform packing and shipping duties.
  • Perform potting and encapsulation operations.
  • Work in a team environment, train others as needed.

Job Requirements
  • Performs diversified soldering operation, including, but not limited to, torch and iron soldering.
  • Perform diversified assembly on a variety of products. This involves a considerable number of parts, close tolerances, and interrelated factors. Operate all equipment required to assemble a variety of products.
  • Must be able to read blueprints, wire schematics, utilize a wide variety of measurement instruments to check parts to verify compliance to quality specifications.
  • Finish relays with nameplates, decals, hardware, stamps, touch up paint etc. and perform packing and shipping duties.
  • Perform potting and encapsulation operations.
  • Be able to operate in a team environment with work sharing, team problem solving, and team acceptance of responsibility. Train other employees as needed.

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $43,950 – $48,339 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
