Job summary

The Production Operator II at Cytiva in Pensacola, FL is responsible for keeping the department running efficiently with a strong focus on quality and on-time delivery. You will report to the Value Stream Leader in the slitting department and work on-site.

You’ll collaborate with process and production engineers on troubleshooting, participate in continuous improvement, follow safety policies and SOPs, and maintain accurate records to ensure traceability and product quality across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions.
• 3+ years' manufacturing experience, cleanroom environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing in Pensacola; collaborate with process and production engineers.
• Produce quality products per SOPs with proper recordkeeping and traceability.

The Production Operator II is responsible for ensuring the department runs efficiently with priority on quality and on-time delivery to our customers.

This position reports to the Value Stream Leader and is part of the slitting department located in Pensacola and will be an on-site role.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Support and participate in activities to establish manufacturing in Pensacola. Work with process and production engineers during troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
• Produce quality products per the standard operating procedures and departmental standards with proper recording and traceability.
• Follow company safety policies including PPE usage, lock-out-tag-out procedure, and safe operation of equipment. Follow good housekeeping policies.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Knowledge and usage of basic math, ability to read and comprehend written work instructions, .
• 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment, a cleanroom environment and with ERP Systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle, etc.) or other applicable experience.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to continuously stand or walk as well as frequently climb stairs and ladders; squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, turn, pivot and reach; frequently use fingers or hands to grasp, clamp, move, finer, handle, and feel small objects.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, chemical material handling, and with ERP Systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Working Hours: Rotating 2/2/3 12 hour shifts; 5:45am - 6:15pm.
