Job summary

Cytiva in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Production Operator II to set up, start, operate and shut down assigned processes in a safe, quality-driven environment. You will document activities, follow batch records and work instructions, and help meet safety, quality and delivery goals.

The role is on-site in the Manufacturing/Operations team. A high school diploma or GED is required and ERP experience (SAP/Oracle) is a plus. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 6:45am to 3:15pm.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Knowledge and usage of basic math, ability to read and comprehend written work instructions, use measuring equipment (ruler, calipers, etc.).
• 1+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment, a cleanroom environment and with ERP Systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle, etc.)

• Be vigilant in ensuring operations are safe and the quality at each operation meets our specifications.
• Be asked to manufacture our products according to established safety and quality procedures and work instructions. Associates in this role are also responsible for achieving safety, quality, and delivery objectives provided by the leadership team.
• Complete appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with policies and procedures – including but not limited to routing information, batch control records, scrap/quality issues, and score cards.

The Production Operator II is responsible being proficient in the independent set‑up, start‑up, continuous operation and shutdown of the assigned area process or processes as detailed by Value Stream (VS).

This position reports to the Value Stream Sr. Manager and is a part of the Manufacturing/Operations department located in Pensacola, FL and will be an on-site role.

Who You Are

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to continuously stand or walk as well as frequently climb stairs and ladders; squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, turn, pivot and reach; frequently use fingers or hands to grasp, clamp, move, finer, handle, and feel small objects

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, a cleanroom environment and with ERP Systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 6:45am - 3:15pm (subject to change)
