Job summary

Prinova USA in Carol Stream, IL is seeking a Production Operator II to safely operate a range of processing and packaging equipment for liquid and dry blend products. You will weigh, blend and sample materials, ensuring quality while adhering to GMP and HACCP standards.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, pre/post inspections, and maintaining accurate production records. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years’ experience in food manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and write English (75% literacy).
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• 1+ year experience operating forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate blending, mixing, and packaging equipment.
• Performs pre- and post-operational setup and disassembly of equipment.
• Verify and weigh raw materials per work orders and blend sheets
• Mix ingredients according to specified procedures and take batch samples
• Package, label and palletize finished products accurately.
• Maintain documentation for quality, safety, and production records.
• Assists with washdowns, sanitization, and equipment cleaning.
• Supports audits and follows HACCP procedures.
• Maintain a clean and work area.
• Cross train on various equipment, processes, and production departments
• Other duties as assigned.
