A Typical Day

You’ll begin your shift by reviewing production priorities and preparing equipment for operation. Throughout the day, you’ll monitor machine performance, conduct quality inspections, document results, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with team members to keep production running safely and efficiently while meeting customer quality requirements.

Job Requirements

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
• Prepare machines and equipment for daily production activities
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring equipment
• Complete quality documentation accurately and independently
• Monitor product quality and make necessary machine adjustments
• Identify defects, document findings, and elevate issues as needed
• Communicate production, quality, and equipment concerns to technicians, supervisors, and support teams
• Follow established safety, quality, and operational procedures
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance productivity and product quality

What your background should look like

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred
• Experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Proficient in the use of inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate manufacturing systems
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk frequently throughout the shift
• Ability to frequently use hands and arms for grasping, reaching, and handling materials and equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic machine knowledge
• SAP experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working in a precision manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to stand and walk throughout the workday
• Frequently required to reach, grasp, handle materials, and use hand tools
• Must be able to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while maintaining safety and quality standards

Additional Information

This position supports work performed in an ITAR-regulated facility. Applicants must meet all applicable eligibility requirements.

Compensation

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $20.00/Hour to $22.00/Hour Depending on experience (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
