Job summary

Carpenter Technology Corporation seeks an entry-level Production Machine Operator I to support the finish end of the roll mill. You will assist with banding, wiring, tagging, forklift operations, and basic quality checks under supervision to ensure smooth line performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in banding, wiring, and removal of bar/coil as it comes off the line.
• Uses forklift or overhead crane to move bar/coil to staging area.
• Insures supplies for the finish end are available, e.g., wire for banding guns.
• Learn and apply inspection procedures to ensure product quality under supervision.
• Remains responsible for general housekeeping of the finish end of the roll mill.
• Assists mill adjusters during changeovers.
