Responsibilities

• Keep machines clean and in good running condition; track carton/film usage, downtime, and jams.
• Load cartons/film correctly; ensure packers receive a pouch of the new code and communicate changes.
• Inform inspectors when to load a new code; change codes on printers as required.
• Check cartons/pouches after code changes; compare pouch and carton codes and check glue quality.
• Notify mechanic of machine problems; unload cartons/film and clean machines at shift end.
• Monitor line processing and complete required paperwork; may work 12-hour shifts under AWEO.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
