Job Description

Danfoss in Forest City, North Carolina, is seeking a Production Operator Level I to join our Manufacturing team. This role involves operating production equipment to manufacture hydraulic hoses. The position reports to the shift Manufacturing Supervisor and is a 2nd Shift role.

Responsibilities

1. Stencil & Inspect: Operate the stencil machine to mark hoses with model and lot numbers, inspecting for defects.
2. Finishing (Cut/Coil & Eject/Test): Eject mandrel using water pressure, proof test hoses, cut hoses at the reel, and coil for shipping.
3. Mandrel Preparation (Rubber & Grilon): Prepare rubber and grilon mandrels for shaping during extrusion.
4. Braid (Horizontal & Vertical): Operate braider machines to reinforce hoses with yarn strands.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Legal ability to work in the US without sponsorship
• Local candidates only (no relocation)

Preferred:

• At least one year of manufacturing experience
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
