Position: Production Operator

Location: Troy, MI / On-Site

Shift: 1st Shift – 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Primary Duties

• Prepare raw materials and packaging, ensuring correct quantities and proper transport to production areas, reporting deviations, and noting process start and finish times.
• Operate processing equipment following process instructions and procedures.
• Monitor equipment to maintain desired process rates.
• Conduct initial testing and product release to verify specifications.
• Check labels and packaging materials for correctness according to rules and instructions.
• Package final products adhering to instructions and quality standards.
• Perform all operations in compliance with quality standards, operating procedures, and legal EHS rules.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager/Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Basic knowledge of software (MS Office).
• Ability to read and understand work orders, safety, and quality instructions.
• Availability to work shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Up to 1 year of experience in an industrial environment.
• Basic understanding of English.

Physical Environment

• Ability to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, lift boxes (up to 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 with assistance), and perform physical tasks including reaching, stooping, and bending.
• Work environment includes normal chemical conditions with typical noise, dust, smell, and temperature.

Pay ranges from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, based on factors like education, experience, and location.
