Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a Production Operator to join our team for the Natural Color expansion, supporting packaging, cleaning, formulation, and material movement. You will calculate and weigh raw materials, operate blenders and dryers, weigh finished products, document production steps, and participate in quality tests and continuous improvement.

The role requires lifting 50 lbs, a 12-hour shift, and flexibility to work different shifts in a climate-conditioned environment

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior chemical manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment with dust/allergen exposure.

Responsibilities

• Calculate, weigh, and charge raw materials; operate processing equipment such as blenders, mixers, mills and dryers.
• Weigh and label finished products and complete production documentation.
• Perform in-process quality analysis tests and participate in continuous improvement programs.
• Clean equipment and work area according to standardized procedures.

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our team and play a critical role in supporting a wide range of activities for the production process; including packaging, cleaning, formulation, and material movement.

What you’ll do:

• Calculate, weigh, and charge raw materials. Operate all processing equipment including blenders, mixers, mills, dryers, etc.Follow all operating procedures written and verbal.
• Weigh and label finished products, complete all production documentation.
• Perform in-process quality analysis tests. Participate in continuous improvement programs.
• Clean equipment and work area per standardized procedures.

What you’ll bring:

• Ability to lift 50lbs multiple times per day. Ability to work a 12-hour shift.
• Flexibility to work different shifts.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment according to safety, environmental and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
• Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled. Color and dust particles may be present in the air or throughout the facility. Allergens may be present in the air.
• High School diploma or equivalent. (Prior chemical manufacturing experience preferred).
