The Wilbert Group is a precast concrete manufacturer and service provider serving the funeral service, building trades, and agricultural markets. The company offers a range of products including burial vaults, monuments, lawn crypts, columbarium niches, septic tanks, retaining walls, storm shelters, and agricultural precast products. Operations include manufacturing plants, warehouses, monument production facilities, a casket manufacturing plant, and nine crematories. The monument division produces granite memorials, markers, custom signage, and engraved brick pavers, along with wholesale monument sales.

Responsibilities:

1. Learn and become proficient in all manufacturing aspects: operating mixers, stripping products from forms, cleaning and oiling forms, applying bonding mixtures and sealants, and pouring concrete.
2. Cut and bend rebar and wire for reinforcement.
3. Perform minor repairs to forms and related equipment as needed.
4. Use various hand tools required for manufacturing tasks.
5. Ensure casting forms have clean, straight edges for quality products.
6. Stock products from the previous day after sealing the outside of vaults.
7. Retrieve and prepare aged products for next-day orders.

Qualifications:

• GED or High School Diploma.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a new hire drug test and undergo random screenings.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs.
• Proficiency in reading maps and understanding directions.
• Strong attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 75+ lbs.
• Physical activities include standing, bending, stooping, twisting, turning, kneeling, and squatting for short periods.
