Position Overview

Oil States Piper Valve is seeking qualified candidates for the role of PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN I in Oklahoma City, OK. The Production Technician I plays a critical role in achieving innovation and fulfilling our commitments by safely assembling and testing products according to guidelines, maintaining inventory accuracy, and meeting production schedules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assemble and test OSI-OKC Piper valve combinations according to documented guidelines and procedures, with guidance and supervision.
2. Complete tasks emphasizing Safety, Quality, and Sense of Pace.
3. Ensure compliance with Material Traceability, Torque Testing, First Pass Test Stand Datasheet, and Serialization Standards.
4. Perform all safety-sensitive tasks as required.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Support shop equipment maintenance.
2. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
3. Use time effectively and safely to perform duties.
4. Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
5. Learn new products and procedures, support change.
6. Operate shop equipment safely.
7. Follow and support HSE programs.
8. Report unsafe conditions to management.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of mechanical experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Must obtain and maintain certification to operate forklifts and cranes as required.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Extended periods of walking, sitting, or standing.

Tools and Equipment

• Use of computers, software, hand and power tools, cranes, forklifts, and testing equipment.
