Job summary

Charter Manufacturing, a fourth‑generation family-owned business in Milwaukee, is seeking a Machine Operator. The role involves welding, packaging, line setup, quality inspection, and forklift/crane movement.

Day shift, 6 AM–6 PM, 3-2-2-3 schedule with built‑in overtime and a starting pay of $21.00+ per hour, plus opportunities for raises within two years. We offer weekly pay, gainsharing bonuses on day one, a strong retirement plan with 401(k) matching, profit sharing, and comprehensive

About Our Position

• MACHINE OPERATOR: This role includes welding, packaging, line setup, quality inspection and material movement with forklifts and overhead cranes. Previous experience as a machine operator is a plus. Check out our job description video: Production Operator at Charter Wire – Menomonee Valley
• STARTING PAY: $21.00+ depending on experience (with the opportunity to earn several increases within your first two years)
• SHIFT: Day Shift (6AM – 6PM)
• SCHEDULE: 3-2-2-3 (3 days working - 2 days off - 2 days working – 3 days off, giving you a 3-day weekend off every other weekend, built-in overtime pay)
• LOCATION: 3700 W Milwaukee Rd, Milwaukee, WI 53208
