Job Overview

Production Operator I – 2nd Shift (2:30PM – 11:00PM, Monday–Friday, occasional overtime). Location: Chagrin Falls, OH. Compensation: $21.00 per hour + $2.00 shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare raw materials and packaging: identify, measure correct quantities, transport to production area, report deviations, and record process start/finish.
• Operate processing equipment according to process instructions and procedures.
• Monitor equipment to maintain desired run rates.
• Perform initial testing and release of products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Verify labels and packaging materials; ensure correct labeling per company standards.
• Package final products according to H.B. Fuller quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with all Quality Standards, Operating Procedures, and EHS rules.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager/Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, production processes, safety regulations, and quality procedures.
• Availability to work shifts.
• 1 year of experience in an industrial environment.
• Basic English comprehension.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, stretch, stoop, and bend.
• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally lift up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Exposure to normal chemical environment conditions (temperature, dust, smell, noise).
