Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Production Worker for an onsite role in Stonington, CT. This Contract to Hire position supports manufacturing operations, loading materials, operating equipment, and ensuring quality standards are met.

You will participate in line startups, changeovers, and routine quality checks while maintaining a clean and safe work area in a fast-paced environment. Advancement opportunities are available within a family-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand/power tools.
• Ability to read measurements and perform basic math.
• Willingness to wear PPE and follow safety protocols.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production line startups and changeovers.
• Load and stage raw materials for continuous production.
• Operate production and extrusion equipment.
• Perform packaging, assembly, grinding, and other production tasks.
• Conduct quality checks and measurements.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
