Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. is looking for a Production Operator to join our distribution center team in Minnesota. This role offers a fixed wage and a Monday–Friday schedule, focusing on safe and reliable operation of machinery and accurate paperwork.

You will read and follow directions, lift up to 75 lbs, and perform daily equipment checks while helping maintain a clean and organized work area and assisting in inventory counts as needed.

Qualifications

• Reading and understanding English documents (orders, safety sheets).
• Ability to stand, bend, lift and perform physical tasks as required.
• Demonstrates a safe work history and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow written instructions and orders.
• Lift up to 75 lbs as needed.
• Climb, reach, bend, and pull during production tasks.
• Store and retrieve material (piece pick and/or bulk).
• Prepare distribution and shipping paperwork.
• Perform daily inspection and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the work area.
• Assist in periodic inventory counts as requested.

What You'll Do:

• Reading and writing English
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Able to climb, reach, bend, and pull
• Store and retrieve material (piece pick and/or bulk)
• Prepare the paperwork required for distribution and shipping of products.
• Performs daily inspection and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in working and assigned area.
• Assists in periodic inventory counts as requested.
