Job summary

Mattr is seeking Production Operators in Ohio to support extrusion/expansion, spooling and cutting operations. The role focuses on operating equipment, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring product quality to meet customer specs in a fast-paced plant.

You will work across multiple production lines, learn SOPs, and collaborate with maintenance to resolve issues while supporting continuous improvement and on-time production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred; extrusion, blow molding, or injection molding experience is an asset.
• Ability to read gauges, perform measurements, and calculate differences to specifications.
• Basic computer skills and ability to input production data into tracking systems.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production equipment across spooling, extrusion/expansion, and cutting processes.
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Position, adjust, and manually feed materials to complete work orders.
• Inspect completed workpieces for defects and sort materials by quality standards.
• Forecast production needs to support scheduling demands and daily orders.
• Follow safety rules, SOPs, and participate in health, safety & environmental initiatives.
