Production Operator - Entry Level Planer Swing Shift Grangeville (Administrative)

Description

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a relief operator for a variety of functions, machinery, and workstations.
2. Assist with mill clean-up until promoted into a more advanced or specialized role.
3. Learn the safe and efficient operation of each machine assigned.
4. Perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations, and Job Safety Analyses (JSA).

Qualifications:

• Ability to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• $2/hr shift differential for qualified night and weekend shifts.
• Overtime paid at time and a half.
• Ability to operate motorized equipment, hand tools, and air hoses.
• Adaptability to weather conditions, loud environments, and airborne particles (sawdust).
• Pass a hair follicle drug test, physical, and background check.

Preferred:

• High school diploma or GED.

Physical Demands:

Sitting and/or standing for full shifts, reaching, stooping, squatting, bending, kneeling, walking, climbing stairs, and listening to equipment.
