You’ll be a great fit if you can:

• Serve as a relief operator for a wide variety of functions, machinery, and workstations
• Assist with mill clean-up until promoted into a more advanced and/or specialized role
• Learn the safe and efficient operation of each machine assigned
• Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations, and JSA’s (job safety analysis)

To be considered, you will need the ability to:

• Work various shifts, including days, nights, and overtime
• Receive a $2/hr shift differential for qualified night and weekend shifts
• Earn overtime pay at time and a half
• Use motorized equipment, hand tools (broom, shovel, etc.), and an air hose
• Adapt to various weather conditions, loud environments, and airborne particles (sawdust) in a loud, industrial, sawmill setting
• Pass a hair follicle drug test, a physical, and a background check

What will put you over the top:

• A high school diploma or GED

The physical demands of this job include:

Sitting and/or standing for a full shift, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, squatting, bending at the waist, kneeling, walking varying distances, climbing stairs, and listening to equipment.
