Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Production Operator I to perform manual, electronic, and mechanical assembly operations across components and sub-assemblies. You will follow documented processes, assemble wiring, install components, hand solder, and inspect with precision equipment.

The role requires standing for shifts, lifting up to 30 lbs, and adhering to safety rules. Training will cover basic SAP/ERP usage and other business tools; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with 0–1

Performs a wide variety of manual, electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, welding and fitting on assembly units.

Job Description

Duties may include:

• Dis-assembles/processes product, parts and assemblies using hand tools, customized tooling, and/or semi-automated equipment.
• Follows written process/assembly documentation.
• Inspects parts, assemblies and product using precision measuring and testing equipment.
• Adjusts process within defined ranges based on measured results.
• Adheres to all safety requirements.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Assists in maintaining efficient material flow through the work area.
• Actively participates on work area teams.
• Gains a basic understanding of material logistics.
• Participates in appropriate training to gain a basic understanding of several of business systems/concepts such as Demand Flow, Statistical Process Control, Process Documentation, Quality and/or Cost Improvement.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATIONS

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge

• Able to follow verbal and written instructions in the prevailing language spoken in the facility.
• Able to work with a trainer under close leadership.

Required Certifications and Training

• Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility.

Experience Level with Business Tools

• Familiar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a plus but not required.
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
