Job summary

ABB in Selmer, TN is seeking an Assembly Technician to support production targets by reading diagrams and performing assembly of panels and systems on the shop floor. You will operate with light hand tools, follow standard operating procedures, and help ensure quality throughout the process.

The role requires a High School diploma and a couple years in manufacturing, with attention to safety and a commitment to a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Prefer 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams for assembly.
  • Ability to perform regular quality testing as part of processes.
  • Work in a clean, organized production area and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products/systems/panels on the shop floor.
  • Use light hand tools and manual assembly as required.
  • Conduct regular quality testing within the production process.
  • Maintain a clean work area and operate within SOPs.
