Job summary

ABB in Selmer, TN is hiring a production operator to operate process equipment converting raw materials into finished parts. You will follow workflows, adhere to safety guidelines, and report non-compliance. This is an onsite role supporting our busway plant.

Responsibilities include set-up, adjustments, routine maintenance, and maintaining detailed records. A High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of manufacturing/industrial/machine operation experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Operate process equipment to convert raw materials into components or finished parts.
• Follow workflows and safety guidelines to ensure quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine machinery set-up, adjustments, and simple replacement parts.
• Maintain regular maintenance, tool setup, programming activities, and troubleshoot issues.
• Keep records of machinery set-ups, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Track approved, defective units and final products.
