ABB Installation Products, Portland, TN is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead assembly operations onsite. You will read and interpret technical diagrams for product assembly, manage shop-floor activities, and ensure targets are met while maintaining 5S and quality standards. The role reports within ABB’s Portland facility and requires Lean/Kaisen participation and training others.

  • Minimum one month or less similar or related work experience.
  • Lean 101

  • Visual quality inspections
  • Place product in box with appropriate count in each box
  • Label product and boxes
  • Tape boxes
  • Lift and carry boxes up to 45 lbs
  • Monitor equipment operation
  • Assist in training of new employees
  • Maintain work area in clean and orderly fashion – 5S
  • Follow standardized work instructions
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing efforts
  • Participate in Kaizen events
  • Cover other positions following appropriate training as needed

Each day, you will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor.
