Job summary

ABB's Selmer plant in Tennessee is seeking an assembler to contribute to producing semi-finished and final panels. You will read and interpret technical diagrams, perform assembly on production lines, and pack items as needed, while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

You will operate machinery and use light hand tools, conduct regular quality checks, and follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Prefer 2 years manufacturing experience.
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams for assembly.
  • Perform regular quality testing as part of production.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products/systems/panels on production lines.
  • Perform packing when integrated with production lines.
  • Operate machinery and use light hand tools.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures.
