ABB Inc. is seeking a dedicated worker in Selmer, Tennessee to support production targets through hands-on assembly work. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma/GED and preferred 2 years of manufacturing or industrial experience. Responsibilities include conducting assembly, quality testing, and ensuring adherence to procedures.

This position reports to: Production Manager

Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. You will also showcase your expertise by reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels. The work model for the role is: Onsite. This role is contributing to the success of the ABB plant in Selmer, TN.

• Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.
• Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.
• Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.
