Job summary

Nature's Sunshine Products, Inc. is seeking an Encapsulation Machine Operator to set up, operate, monitor, and maintain encapsulation equipment for capsule production. You will prepare materials, adjust settings, perform in-process quality checks, document activities, and follow GMP, SOP, and safety procedures.

You will work with production teams across shifts to ensure schedules are met and products pass quality standards, with a focus on accurate record-keeping and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Four years of high school plus specific course requirements
• Knowledge of weights and measurements (i.e. metric system)
• RedZone and Oracle
• Skill in operating process equipment
• Basic math skills
• General computer skills helpful
• Able to monitor process equipment and keep accurate records
• Maneuver heavy weights
• Prioritize multiple assignments
• Must have good hand-eye coordination
• Able to communicate well with coworkers on all shifts and to work effectively in a team environment

JOB SUMMARY

An Encapsulation Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining encapsulation equipment used in the production of capsules. The operator ensures capsules are manufactured according to quality standards, production schedules, and safety requirements. Key duties include preparing materials, adjusting machine settings, performing in-process quality checks, documenting production activities, troubleshooting minor equipment issues, and following GMP, SOP, and safety procedures.
