Job summary

Masonite is seeking a Production Associate to support daily operations in the door components manufacturing process. You will rotate through tasks, maintain safety, and help ensure quality across orders.

No prior experience is required; a HS diploma or GED is preferred, and you must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Safety toe shoes are required for this role.

Shift:

6:30:00 AM – 5:00:00 PM, Monday xe2x80x93 Thursday. If overtime is required, contractors will work on Fridays

Pay:

$18/hr.

Interview:

No interview but they will be scheduled for a Site tour before extending an offer.

Overview:

A Production Associate is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations throughout the door components manufacturing process. Production Associates are cooperative and willing to apply their skills in a variety of venues by regularly rotating positions to achieve success. Working safely is a key skill needed in this position.

What you will need:

What you will do:

• Duties include everything from sweeping and cleaning, to sorting and stacking, to learning the ropes of the Machine Operator job.
• Take pride and great care in checking quality for every order you help fill for our customers.
• Assist Machine Operators
• Take full ownership of your work area and work to achieve Total Quality Management

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Be able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work in a standing position for 10-hour shifts
• Lots of energy for walking, squatting, crouching, turning, twisting, stretching, grabbing, pulling, pushing, bending, etc. in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
• A focus on safety around operating machinery
• Willingness to learn and be trained
• Excellent attendance – must be reliable and punctual
