Job summary

Welch Packaging Group Inc. is seeking a Production Associate to help create finished products by operating machines, performing manual tasks, and upholding production standards in a fast-paced corrugated manufacturing environment.

You will follow all safety procedures, monitor quality of boxes (size, print, liner), adjust machine settings to meet specifications, troubleshoot issues, and assist teammates to maintain daily production schedules while ensuring a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to work safely adhering to all safety processes and policies.
• Prior corrugated manufacturing experience preferred.
• Cycle counting experience is a plus.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily customer demand and production schedule.
• Maintain safety standards at all times.
• Setup and adjust machine settings to meet product specifications.
• Troubleshoot problems throughout production run.
• Check box quality (lose liner, warp, size, print).
• Adhere to production schedule and report scheduling issues.
• Operate safely to maximize equipment utilization.
• Train and assist teammates with job duties on the machine.
• Follow company policies and maintain housekeeping.
• Submit maintenance work orders as needed.
• Comply with laws and regulations.
