Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures in Bay Minette, AL is seeking a Pole Builder to join our manufacturing team. You will provide skilled assistance in the assigned area and train for additional skills as needed to support concrete, lattice, and tubular steel structure fabrication.

You will perform general manual labor such as loading, unloading, lifting, sorting parts, and cleaning work areas while adhering to all safety rules. Professional communication and dependable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing work environment.
• Prior experience with concrete is a plus.
• The ability to maintain good attendance.

• Perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving material.
• May assist skilled workers involved in fabricating, welding, assembling, installing, and processing by a variety of functions such as sorting and counting, feeding, and unloading parts, sweeping, cleaning, rough painting, and other manual labor tasks as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
• Be professional with all personnel and communicate effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
