Smithfield Foods is seeking production team members to help deliver good food responsibly. The role involves handling materials, using knives and machinery, standing for long shifts, and adhering to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Employees receive competitive starting pay of 17.30 USD per hour with a 1.00 USD shift differential for second shifts, plus comprehensive health insurance, retirement benefits, and opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Stand on concrete for up to a 12-hour shift.
• Work around animal blood and/or carcass parts.
• Work in cold areas (20–40°F) and/or very hot areas (>100°F).

Responsibilities

• Operate production processes and use hand tools, knives, machinery and equipment to deliver food.
• Perform physically demanding tasks with good hand-eye coordination and stamina.
• Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
• Be available to work scheduled hours, including potential overtime.
