Smithfield Foods is seeking General Production team members to help deliver safe, high-quality meat products for families across America. You will operate hand tools, knives, machinery and other equipment on a production line, maintain safety and quality standards, and support your coworkers.

Starting pay is $18.70 per hour with a $0.50/hour shift differential for 2nd shift. Eligible benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement benefits and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line using hand tools, knives, and machinery to process meat products.
• Maintain safety, quality, and teamwork on the line.
• Meet production demands and may work overtime as needed.
