Production Operator - City of Industry

At Danone, manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams.

We have an opening for a Production Operator based in City of Industry, CA!

This role is responsible for operating and maintaining fillers and related equipment within production, with quality being the primary concern. The candidate should be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate professionally both verbally and in writing. The role contributes to overall department production goals and maintains a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure all paperwork is filled out clearly, legibly, and accurately with all required information.
• Set up, operate, tear down, and clean equipment; perform quality inspections including weight checks and compliance with product specifications.
• Maintain and update cleanliness, lubrication standards, and logs in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot, make minor adjustments, and repair equipment using basic tools.
• Monitor equipment for malfunctions, repair minor issues, and collaborate with maintenance personnel for major repairs.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance, other departments, and management regarding issues and needs.
• Follow GMP and 5S methodology to ensure a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment.
• Strive to meet line efficiency goals.
• Assist, train, and coach team members.
• Participate in team meetings and adhere to all policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About You:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 months related experience or training, or equivalent education and experience.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Knowledge of CIP/SIP and SAP systems.
• Skills in monitoring performance, troubleshooting, and using logic to solve problems.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks regularly.
• Certifications such as Pasteurizer's license (preferred) and forklift OSHA certification are advantageous.
