Sika is seeking a Production Operator in Elko, NV. The role executes daily production tasks, adheres to safety and quality standards, and supports continuous improvement within a team environment.

Responsibilities include batch making, packaging, changeovers, and equipment setup. Typical duties require strong attendance, English literacy, and adaptability to overtime and various shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in an industrial environment.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Good math skills including fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Ability to develop process expertise for troubleshooting.
• Able to maintain excellent attendance and work any shift/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, site security and environmental policies.
• Maintain housekeeping to keep areas clean and orderly.
• Follow quality guidelines and report variations.
• Understand and meet the daily production schedule.
• Ensure production processes achieve optimum output rate.
• Setup materials and ensure equipment readiness for batch making.
• Complete SAP order confirmations accurately and timely.
• Perform batch making, packaging, set-ups and changeovers as directed.
• Operate and maintain equipment; assist in preventive maintenance.
