Westlake Chemical is seeking a Production Operator to manage assigned production cells, operate lines, load gaskets, and ensure quality for end products. The role requires following SOPs, maintaining safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include measuring pipe dimensions, recording data, and assisting with start-ups and changeovers while adhering to housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Basic reading skills; able to read simple words and numbers.
• Ability to follow SOPs and operator manuals.
• Proven ability to work as part of a team in a production setting.

Responsabilités

• Operate and monitor production lines for pipe manufacturing.
• Load gaskets and package end products for shipment.
• Visually inspect products for quality and record measurements.
• Measure and record pipe dimensions; respond to SPC charting as required.
• Move bundled pipe from work area and assist with line start-up/changeovers.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Report equipment malfunctions or defects immediately.
• Support other operators as needed and work as part of a team.
