Job summary

Akron Dispersions is seeking a qualified Production Operator to join our team. Responsibilities include material handling, forklift operation, batch loading, record keeping, batch processing, and cleanout of process equipment within an ISO 9001 framework.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED, 2+ years manufacturing experience, and the ability to wear safety gear. Training covers safety, with potential for 2nd shift work and overtime as production requires.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Operator duties: set-up, manufacture, package, cleanout and maintenance.
• Meet safety objectives and goals.
• Able to wear required safety gear.
• Able to multitask.
• Forklift experience required.
• Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• General math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Able to work in a team and independently after training.
• Able to solve problems effectively.
• Able to move materials and packages up to 70 lbs.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality required.
• Overtime may be required.
