Join the Crawfordsville – Spartech Team! We are seeking an Auto Screen Press Operator to join our team in Crawfordsville, IN. Crawford Industries, now part of Spartech, LLC, specializes in extruding and converting flat plastic sheets with various applications such as signage, license plates, veterinary clinic lamp shades, and school supplies. Responsibilities:

1. Set up and operate automatic screen-printing presses.
2. Review job travelers to confirm setup and materials.
3. Ensure proper registration and corona treatment.
4. Prepare inks and additives for printing.
5. Identify and repair minor screen issues like pinholes.
6. Adjust equipment during runs to maintain quality.
7. Train and supervise temporary assistants.
8. Accurately report labor activities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Experience in printing or similar fields.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read tape measures and micrometers.
• Normal vision and basic mechanical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Comfort working with inks and chemicals and wearing PPE.

This position reports to the Converting Supervisor.
