Job summary

H.B. Fuller is seeking a Production Operator I in South Bend, IN. The role reports to the Production Manager/Supervisor and involves operating equipment, preparing materials, labeling, packaging, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Must be proficient in English and flexible to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to read and follow work orders and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, safety regulations and quality procedures/instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare raw materials and packaging and transport to production areas.
• Operate processing equipment according to instructions and procedures.
• Monitor equipment to maintain desired run rates.
• Complete initial testing and release of products to ensure specification compliance.
• Check labels and packaging to ensure correct labeling and material.
• Package final products following quality standards and procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping in the area and perform other duties as assigned.
