This position will work out of Portage, WI on 4th Shift - Friday night and Saturday night, 10:30 PM - 10:30 AM along with 2 - 8 hour shifts during the week (Monday - Friday), on 3rd shift. This position offers a $3.00 per hour shift premium.
Saint‑Gobain’s Portage, Wisconsin manufacturing team produces silicone medical components and tubing used in life‑saving medical devices such as IV drug delivery sets, diabetes management devices, COVID‑19 diagnostics, ventilators, and eye surgery procedures.
In this role, you will safely and efficiently operate manufacturing equipment to meet expected production rates. These duties include operating molding presses, inspecting parts, packaging and labeling parts, washing parts, and tending to the oven room. You will work closely with QC inspectors while running jobs and communicate changes or issues regarding part and process quality. You will also collaborate with the Manufacturing Technician team, Maintenance team, and Production Leads to ensure consistent and efficient operation of equipment to meet daily safety, quality, and production goals.
The weekend 4th shift schedule runs 10:30 PM – 10:30 AM with a paid lunch period. This shift starts Friday night and ends Sunday morning. With this shift, you will also work two 8‑hour shifts during the week, preferably on 3rd shift, with a variety of days available. 4th shift is eligible for a $3.00 shift differential added to the base hourly rate of $18.00 per hour.
