Production Operator - 3rd Shift

Shift: 3rd Shift, 10:00 pm - 6:30 am; including weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.

Pay: Starting at $23.75 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential. Pay increase after training.

Job Summary

This role supports our Purina Animal Nutrition business, aiding our network of local cooperatives, independent dealers, and large retailers to serve producers and animal owners across the United States. We focus on industry-leading R&D and partnerships to innovate nutrition products that enhance animal health and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment such as machining, processing, assembly, and packaging equipment.
• Operate machinery to produce products according to specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials and finished goods.
• Monitor output quality, discard or re-manufacture faulty products.
• Maintain accurate production records and monitor machine parameters.

Minimum Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• Strong safety awareness and physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in various temperature zones and wear PPE.
• Flexible shift availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

Includes frequent movement, lifting, bending, standing, and working in hot or cold environments.
