Job Summary:

Operators must be highly safety conscious, quality focused, proficient and accurate in using tape measures, mechanically inclined, and experienced in computerized reporting.

Job Duties:

1. Maintain a clean and orderly work area
2. Follow all safety policies and procedures, report unsafe conditions and incidents
3. Maintain company's quality standards
4. Start machines, monitor production, and run specified sets as per the slitting ticket
5. Properly label all produced rolls
6. Enter data into AS400 system accurately
7. Adjust machines during runs and respond to visual inspection issues
8. Review packing specifications in the computer system to meet customer requirements
9. Inspect film daily for defects
10. Transport materials and finished products appropriately
11. Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED; 1-3 years of experience preferred
2. Ability to work at a fast pace and multitask
3. Read production tickets and perform math calculations, including fractions
4. Read tape measures and micrometers
5. Computer literate
6. Dedicated to continuous improvement
7. Able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods
