Position Summary:

3rd Shift Production Operator

This position requires 3 years of experience in a manufacturing facility. Extrusion experience is a plus. You will be responsible for running extrusion lines, cleaning, weighing, mixing, and adding powder resins into production lines to ensure the highest quality product for our customers. Forklift certification is a plus.

Essential Functions:

• Set up, start, and operate machinery, checking controls for adherence to safety procedures and ISO standards.
• Weigh ingredients to meet recipe specifications and load them into machinery or ensure correct ingredients are delivered to the work area.
• Monitor production and equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Operate machinery for mixing, extruding, discharging, or handling materials per operating procedures.
• Inspect materials for conformance to standards and take samples for lab evaluation if needed.
• Report issues to supervisors and perform all required cleaning and data entry tasks.
• Document work and participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow safety and work rules, maintain cleanliness, and perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Qualifications:

• Proven experience in extruder or machine operation.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs continuously throughout the shift.
• High School diploma, GED, or relevant experience.
• Adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Shift flexibility is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.

Physical Demands:

• Must see, hear, and communicate effectively.
• Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
• Frequently lift/move items over 50 lbs., with equipment assistance for up to 200 lbs.
• Ability to work a 10-hour shift, with sufficient vision and hearing to perform tasks.
