Job summary

American Plastics, LLC is seeking a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will assist with production, inspection and packaging of stored products in a safe, clean environment. Shifts rotate: days 7am–7pm and nights 7pm–7am with a 2/2/3 scheduling.

You will lift up to 40 lb, and up to 80 lb with teamwork, and ensure product specs and packing meet customer needs. We offer benefits: medical, dental and vision; 401(k) with company match; paid vacation and holidays; life insurance;

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs, and up to 80 lbs with team lift.
• Communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN & AUTHORIZE BACKGROUND CHECK

Responsibilities

• Run a safe, clean operation which promotes zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and packing according to customer requests.
• Trim, assemble and pack parts.
• Supply the lines and packing/stage areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.
