Job summary

BRAVA ROOF & TILE in Washington, Iowa is seeking a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate machinery, load materials into extruder, inspect products, trim excess material, and help ensure a smooth, safe production flow on a 12-hour shift schedule.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of related experience, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate in English; bilingual abilities (Spanish or French) are a plus.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery, handling materials, and ensuring the smooth flow of production lines within a fast-paced, safety-focused environment committed to excellence and teamwork.DutiesMonitors equipment to ensure that product assembled properly.Loads plastic material into extruder.Cuts plastic material to specified weight.Loads and unloads plastic material into large press.Inspects final product to ensure they are up to quality standards.Trims plastic tiles of excess flash.Packs completed product and prepared for shipment.Adheres to established safety protocols.Ensures workstation is clean and free of hazardous materials.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills.Strong work ethic.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Able to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Fluency in English, Spanish or French is required.Education and Experience:One-year related experience required.Physical Requirements:Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, carry, and manipulate various items.Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently.Frequently required to stand and walk.Schedule:12-hour shifts 6p - 6a (2nd Shift)2-2-3 rotating schedule.
