Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Production Operator for the Washington, Iowa plant to run machinery, handle materials, and maintain smooth production line flow in a safety-focused environment. The role involves loading materials, trimming excess, inspecting quality, and packing finished goods for shipment.

The 2nd shift runs 6p–6a on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule; candidates should have at least one year of related experience and the ability to work in English, Spanish, or French.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience is required.
• Must be able to read and follow safety protocols.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment to ensure proper product assembly.
• Load plastic material into extruder.
• Cut plastic material to specified weight.
• Load/unload plastic material into large press.
• Inspect finished product for quality standards.
• Trim plastic tiles of excess flash.
• Pack completed product and prepare for shipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and keep workstation clean.
