Job Description

The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking 2nd shift Production Operators to work at our sauces processing facility in Fremont, OH. Successful candidates must be willing to contribute improvement suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality-oriented, demonstrate adaptability, and be willing to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

• Currently hiring for second shift positions. Candidates must be willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts alternating days and nights - including weekends. Starting Pay Rate $24.53/hr., additional shift premium, weekly pay

Responsibilities & Duties

• Learn the safe and proper operation of packaging filling equipment.

• Perform set-up, start-up, and changeover procedures for equipment as needed.

• Assist in troubleshooting issues related to equipment operation and line performance.

• Maintain downtime records during line operation.

• Conduct and document quality checks.

• Clean equipment as part of routine maintenance.

• Monitor and communicate process or product abnormalities to supervisors or technicians.

• Perform sanitation duties for production equipment and periodic sanitation work as assigned.

• Handle chemicals properly and follow safety guidelines.

• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

• Support Plant Quality Systems.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or shift leaders.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• Availability to work all shifts, including second, third, weekends, and holidays.

• Prior manufacturing experience is required.
