Job summary

Abbott Nutrition in Casa Grande, Arizona is seeking a Night Shift Operator 2 Production for the Tetra line to follow procedures that manufacture infant and medical nutritionals, ensuring quality and efficiency. The role requires strict adherence to safety, process specs and GMP standards.

Shifts are 12 hours from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM with every other weekend off, offering opportunities in a regulated, team-based manufacturing environment and access to Abbott benefits and career development

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to comply with FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate retort or aseptic sterilization, filling and sealing lines for Infant and Medical Nutritionals.
• Run related filling, processing and sterilizing equipment and sampling tasks.
• Maintain safety, general housekeeping and team support.
• Operate finishing equipment as needed (depalletizer, labeler, casepacker, capper, etc.).
• Operate machines safely following instructions and monitor output quality.
• Keep accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
• Complete Batch Audits.

Night Shift Operator 2 Production - Tetra - Casa Grande, AZ

The Production operator will follow established procedures and guidelines to manufacture the organization's products according to production specifications and schedules, volume, cost, and wastage targets, and quality standards.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• The Production Operator is responsible for all tasks associated with retort or aseptically sterilizing, filling and sealing of Infant and Medical Nutritionals.
• Functions include, but are not limited to the operation of all related filling, processing and sterilizing equipment and sampling responsibilities.
• The operator will also be responsible for safety, general housekeeping and team support.
• Operators may also be required to operate finishing equipment (depalletizer, labeler, casepacker, capper, etc.)
• Operate machines and production equipment safely and in accordance with instructions.
• Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
• Maintain accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analyzed.
• Complete Batch Audits

Please note: This is a 12-hour Night shift position from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and allows you to have every other weekend off.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working in a regulated manufacturing work environment

The base pay for this position is $20.85 – $41.75 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
